Motorcyclist killed, another injured in Ganderbal mishap | KNO

Ganderbal, June 18 (KNO) : A motorcyclist was killed while another was injured in a road accident at Repora lar area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday evening. Reports reaching to KNO said that accident occurred at Repora lar this evening when a speedy Tipper bearing registration number JK03-9541 lost control and hit a motorcyclist, resulting in critical injuries to both the persons who were traveling on a bike. Both the injured were rushed to nearby Hospital where the doctors declared one of injured brought dead, reports said. A police officer also confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as Uzair ahmad lone son of showket ahmad lone (24) resident of Duderhama. The other injured person identified as Usaid Ahmad lone son of Mohammed yousuf lone (22) resident of Duderhama has been referred to district hospital Ganderbal in critical condition. Officer further added that police has registered a case under relevant sections of law and further investigations have been initiated in this regard. (KNO)
